Open-source licence and publication

QF Solver is an open-source Python finite-element library for inspectable structural-mechanics workflows. Source code is distributed under Apache-2.0. Original documentation and examples are distributed under CC BY 4.0.

The licence permits reuse and commercial use. It is not a guarantee of a mechanical result, a certification, or an endorsement of a particular use. Third-party meshes, external solver outputs and other components retain their own terms; their notices remain attached to the relevant artifact.

Attribution

The project is maintained by Quentin Farinazzo. Users are invited to cite QF Solver and the version used through CITATION.cff. Contributions follow the terms described in CONTRIBUTING.md.

Release boundary

The public 0.2.7 scope is explicitly bounded. Experimental and non-comparable routes remain labeled as such in the capabilities and known-limitations pages. Historical audit records keep the version and status that were true when they were produced.

This page does not imply certification or automatic publication.
